A Necklace of Feet

Across the plains east of the Great Mountains, the people of Newinglow have scattered hundreds of settlements. People of the Western Bay, People of the East (some of the sea-faring bears, even), gnomes, dwarfs, some orcs.

Many of these settlements are permanent, and well on the way to becoming towns. Others are temporary–delicate chains of homes across the landscape. Sometimes conflicts erupt.

Wherever there are children, there are caterpillars kept as pets, and when they grow, their shed skins are threaded on leather necklaces.
